Katy Tessman's "Write My Own Story" Tour in Support of New Album

Minnesota native singer-songwriter Katy Tessman is hitting the road this June with her “Write My Own Story” tour in support of her new album, Turnbuckles. Combining honest songwriting with a voice shaped by survival and strength, Tessman shares songs of resilience, motherhood, and healing through performances in unique community spaces across the West.
From serene libraries to lively local bars, Tessman's tour brings Turnbuckles to life with intimate performances that reflect her journey as a young survivor of breast cancer, single mom, and literacy champion. The tour kicks off June 12 at the Hopkins Sunset Series in downtown Hopkins. Her solo performances in South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nebraska will mark her debut appearances throughout the Mountain West and Great Plains regions. The tour concludes June 29 at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. Both Minnesota dates will feature her full band, Katy Tessman and The Turnbuckles.
